You are very sensitive "Russ". Plenty of people, I imagine, are either indifferent to or actively dislike crisps. I haven't eaten crisps in years. Low grade potatoes smothered in overly salty chemical "flavour" mostly. Horrible. You're welcome to them.

Apparently it's mainly only us and the yanks who love vinegar with everything.
Paprika and cheese puffs aplenty in Scandinavia.
Can get salt n vinegar crisps in coffee shops in Norway at £2.50 a pop.

Cunt.

Loads of other nations enjoy crisps, or chips as they wrongly call them.
They prefer plain salted or paprika flavours and don't appreciate salt and vinegar.

Re: Crisps

On the continent there are huge bags of crisps, greasier and full of salt that are worse than those in the UK.
You haven't tried a crisp though until you try Co-Ops Salt and Chardonnay Vinegar crisps! A real cheek sucker of a crisp.
Of course Wasabi peas or those Satay flavoured broad beans are a good alternative. Proper savoury delicacies.

You've not had a crisp until you've had Tesco finest four cheese ridged crisps. They stink to high heaven but taste bloody amazing. Especially with Beer

Is Turan of Turkish heritage where crisps aren't a favourite?
I mean come on, they're the bollocks and who gives a fuck if they're bad for you?
Lager is bad for me, but I still intend to drink 15 pints of the stuff and copious amounts of sambuca today when I leave for the pub in 10 mins.
Twiglets are a huge favourite at the moment, though salt n vinegar will always be my go to.
Fucking annoying when in Norway, as the fuckers don't do vinegar and they are hard to get.

For me Crisps are probably the greatest savoury snack ever invented.
And a crisp and roast peanut mix up in a bowl when having a lager or rum and coke goes down lovely.

India is also into crisps, but only ready salted and fucking spicy chilli flavours available.
There is now a new range of... not sure how to describe it... a savoury equivalent of a sugar puff, in wasabi flavour. That is excellent and really packs a punch. Had a packet yesterday. A couple dropped on the floor, the dog decided to mop up. When the wasabi hit, the dog whooped and moved sharply back, shaking his head.

Re: Crisps

Walkers have got a new line aimed at men, because normal crisps are so bloody feminine. Max Strong come in hot and spicy flavours such as wasabi and jalapeno & cheese. They have also been expertly produced to go with beer apparently, because up until now crisps and a pint would be a disgusting thought. Despite their ridiculous marketing tactics, they are bloody lovely

I miss the Phileas Fogg devilishly hot crisps, they were actually hot, not like the fraudulent ones these days claiming to be "flamin' hot"..wankers
